Wilkommen beim Jagdgeschwader 11, Sonderstaffel

JG 11 is an eclectic group of historically minded Luftwaffe aircraft enthusiasts from around the world who fly as a squadron in the online WWII air combat simulation Aces High. We are proud to be the only squad in Aces High that flies only Luftwaffe aircraft in the Main Arenas. JG 11 is respected within the community for its teamwork, camaraderie, and integrity.

Like the Luftwaffe geschwaders of World War II, JG11 is organized into three groups, or "Gruppen". I/JG11 is the Main Arena group, II/JG11 is the Axis vs. Allies gruppe, and III/JG11 flies Friday Squad Operations (FSO) and other events in the Special Events Arenas. Each group consists of two flights, or "Staffeln": Weiß (White) Staffel and Schwarz (Black) Staffel. Weiß Staffel primarily flies the Focke-Wulf FW-190 series of aircraft while Schwarz Staffel flies the Messerschmitt Bf-109 series; mirroring the historic mixed Geschwader. While most members of JG11 are members of all 3 gruppen, it is not a requirement. We have several members of III/JG11 (the FSO gruppe) who are members of other Main Arena squads.

JG 11 flies as Knights in the Main Arenas. Our squad night is every Tuesday night. We meet in the Training Arena beginning at 8:30 pm EST for some warm up and move to the main arena at 9 pm EST. We enjoy a good turnout of squad members and conduct air operations as a unit.
